The Victron BatteryProtect automatically disconnects non-essential loads before your battery is flattened. That protects it from damage and makes sure there's always enough left to start the engine. It's a solid-state switch (no relay), so it draws almost nothing itself. It can also be used as a remote-controlled main switch, or controlled by a lithium battery BMS.
Standard or Smart?
- Standard: disconnect and reconnect voltages are set with a programming pin, choosing from preset levels.
- Smart (Bluetooth): set any disconnect and reconnect voltage you like, see its status and switch it on and off from the VictronConnect app.
Key features
- 12/24V auto-detect (48V model for 48V systems).
- Lithium mode for control by a VE.Bus BMS, smallBMS or Lynx BMS.
- Over-voltage protection disconnects loads if the system voltage goes too high.
- Alarm output for a buzzer or relay before disconnect.
- Ultra-low self-consumption.
- Remote on/off input.
Note: BatteryProtect is one-directional. Current flows from IN to OUT only, so use it either between battery and loads, or between a charger and battery, not both.
