The Powered Fifth Wheel (P5W) is a retrofittable solution for converting your manually-pushed hospital beds into powered ones.

Controlled with an ergonomically designed control grip for a natural walking posture, the Powered Fifth Wheel works with your bed’s other four wheels to help you move patients safely and efficiently.

The retractable fifth wheel provides maximum manoeuvrability and can be lifted or lowered at the simple press of a button on the hand control unit. It requires a minimum ground clearance of 200 mm underneath the bed, trolley or stretcher.

Battery	Standard: Two 12V-33Ah rechargeable batteries (assembled within slide-out carriage) with 24V smart charger. (International chargers are also available.)
Battery	Upgrade: Lithium Ion (Li-ion) battery upgrades are available for maximum hours of operation between charges. The upgrade code includes changing the battery, smart charger and socket. Order code: BATLIONLIGHT
